As a Clinical Mental Health Counseling Intern specializing in relational trauma, I help individuals who feel stuck reprocess their experiences so they can heal and move forward, living more authentic and fulfilling lives. Do you find yourself weighed down by past events, unable to fully engage with the present? Or perhaps you struggle to connect with your true self and feel disconnected from your body? I make it a priority to provide a safe space for you to explore these challenges and begin your journey toward healing.
In our sessions, I will support you in understanding how your history impacts the present, whether through physical sensations (somatization), behaviors, or thoughts. Together, we’ll explore the different parts of yourself that may be in conflict or that feel stuck, using Internal Family Systems (IFS) as our primary approach. I also integrate principles from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help you incorporate mindfulness and stay grounded in the present, in addition to Art therapy to allow for creative expression when words are difficult to find. My goal is to help you reconnect with your body and your emotions, so you can live a life that aligns with your values.
My passion for trauma-focused therapy began with an early recognition of the profound and lasting effects that unresolved trauma can have on individuals and their relationships. I am deeply committed to helping individuals reclaim their lives and achieve meaningful healing.
If you’re ready to step into a more peaceful and connected future, I would be honored to support you on this journey.
